ABOUT LEED:
The LEED Green Building Rating System is a voluntary standards and certification program that defines high-performance green buildings, which are more environmentally responsible, healthier and more profitable structures. Developed by the USGBC, the LEED standard has been adopted nationwide by federal agencies, state and local governments, and interested private companies as the guideline for sustainable building.

Christa is actively working with a number of clients in pursuit of LEED certification for their projects. The LEED Green Building Rating System earns building owners credits for satisfying specified green building criteria. The major environmental categories of review include: sustainable sites; water efficiency; energy and atmosphere; materials and resources; indoor environmental quality; innovation in design; and regional priority . There are four progressive levels of certification: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
