Monroe Community College's PAC Center, which recently celebrated achieving LEED Gold certification from U.S. Green Building Council, was awarded Project of the Year for structural projects in the greater than $10 million category. 

This award was presented to the Monroe County Department of Engineering Services at the APWA Genesee Valley Chapter Awards Banquet, held at the Doubletree Inn in Henrietta, NY on January 28, 2010.

The American Public Works Assocation (APWA) established the Project of the Year Award to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the engineer and contractor who together have led to a successful completion of a public works project.

Christa served as General Contractor for the PAC Center and is proud to have contributed to the success of this extraordinary project.
